A 10-minute microwave recipe for your cake cravings.
Ingredients
2 tbsp butter
40g dark chocolate
1 egg
2 tbsp milk
2 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp flour
pinch of baking soda
pinch of baking powder
pinch of salt
(optional) sweetened condensed milk for dressing
Preparations
Roughly chop the chocolate if you’re using whole bars. Skip this step if you’re using chocolate chips.
Place butter (2 tbsp) and chocolate (40g) in a mug and microwave until it’s melt. Check frequently every 20-30 seconds to make sure nothing is exploding.
Add milk (2 tbsp), sugar (2 tbsp), flour (3 tbsp), and a pinch of salt to the mixture, combine thoroughly with a fork.
Making sure the mixture is not too hot, add one egg, and combine again.
Add a pinch of baking soda and a pinch of baking powder, mix well.
Cook in microwave for roughly 2-3 minutes (this will depend on the power of the microwave). Again, check frequently every 20-30 seconds, until the cake reaches a good consistency.
Add sweetened condensed milk on top, or enjoy as is :D
